Whether we realize it or not, we use many of the same objects every day, the cup you drink from, the chair you sit in, or the door you walk through to leave the house. These everyday items are so familiar that we often forget they are the result of intentional design. My work challenges this familiarity by reimagining ordinary objects and spaces. I strive to push the boundaries of functional design, transforming items like chairs and lamps to encourage people to see them in new ways.

I work with multiple media, including sculpture in wood, metal, and paper, as well as two-dimensional mediums like ink, paint, and colored pencils. Color and lighting play a significant role in how I challenge viewers' perspectives and transform the appearance of common objects. Through this process, I explore how an object's intended use can be pushed or reimagined, challenging people to think differently about the things they encounter daily.
